I think it's great we have the majority of our squad already signed for next season but two of the positions to be filled during the off season (i.e. 2nd striker and creative play maker) will be critical to our success, and our ability to foot it with the big boys (i.e. Sydney and Melbourne), next season.
I know it's Tony's intention to take his time with recruitment, and who can argue with that, but we got Ifill by the skin of our teeth last year and ended up with Chen because we left finishing our recruitment too late.Last year there was a clear plan to recruit from the UK (and Brazil at one time) with a scouting trip organised. I'm getting a little uncomfortable we haven't heard boo about recruitment this off season.
Wouldn't mind the odd release from the club reassuring supporters that they are on to it (i.e. World Cup commitments and $ issues will not unduly impact recruitment).
P.S. Had the same concerns last year and it turned out alright - just a worrier
