I expect it will be all quiet on the transfer front until after the UK season finishes. Then expect an announce ment of one or possibly two players from a good level.
 
Remember both Ifill and Greenacre have constantly said they have contacts in the UK eager to come and play in the A-League. In fact when Greenacre was asked if he knew of any good players interested in coming he said " I have a list as long as my arm"
 
I have just come back from a business trip to the UK....their economy is in the shiite big time. Lots of depressing news about the viability of the football business. Plus the Pound is very weak against the NZ/Aus dollar which makes player recruitment very attractive.
 
I think we are in for a pleasant surprise when the quality of the new signings are made.....
