I get the impression Killen would rather sign for a big club without getting much gametime. What's to say a team like Hibs wouldn't want him back.. all he needs is one season where he finds the back of the net reguarly and he'll be set again.
 
We certainly wouldn't want him back so he could do the dirty on us after 1 season again (after sticking by him through his many injuries).
 
I also think you are right - Killen doesn't TRULY care about playing, he'd have left Celtic long before he eventually did had that been true.
 
Easy money sitting on his arse week in, week out.
edit - would still take him at Phoenix though...


That's pretty harsh going that he's always bent over backwards to be available to play for his country. Plus what qualifies you to know about the inner workings of Chris Killens mind? He went on loan a few times while at City and went on loan to Middlesborough, seems like a keen professional to me.
