which matches are you referring to? I completely disagree on the compusre in front of goal, I really can't recall him missing many chances.

Well, I remember him missing quite a few - snatching at the ball and missing badly when a bit more more composure would have given him a better chance, being a pace or two behind from where he needed to be, and those kind of things. for the latter, either he failed to gel with the rest of the team, or the other guys failed to get him involved the way he likes to be involved. Either way, he's far from being the critical piece of the puzzle as far as I'm concerned.
Greenacre was handy last year but not critical imo. linked quite well, worked v hard defensively, but wasnt a huge goal threat I didnt think. Not sure that his finishing was so bad, every striker misses some, but that he didnt get into enough dangerous positions, wasnt enough of a presence in the six yard box.
Hopefully he finds the net a bit more often this year.
