Why do we only ever sign players to ONE year deals?
cos the previous 3 years has taught our management valuable lessons, thats why!
It was previously reported that we offered a 3 year contract so, if the report was correct, the one year term appears to have been North's choice.
With low risk players (proven track record) such as North I would be happy with 2 or 3 years but he'll come here, play well, love the Nix and Welly and extend.
With higher risk players a 1 year term is very sensible.
