Mulligan was woeful.

Didnt help Mulligan that Crowther couldnt look to his left and see him in wide open spaces. Three times and finally he got a feed but from Siggy.

It seemed that the nix had real trouble defending out wide. (Hence the two goals from crosses)
Something that they need to sort out, as its happened in recent weeks too.

But I suspect that the Nix right back was Taylor Hall Jones from Lower Hutt.
So if the wide backs were a 16 year old kid from the Central League and Mully it's not a massive surprise we weren't defending out wide too well.

The Right Back kept getting called Aaron? Was what can only be described as a raging ginger.
The nix picked up pace in the second half after making their substitutions.
Ben Fredrickson played his part well. Didn't let anyone push him off the ball without a fight.
Highlight was the rest of the team laughing at Crowther when he went to stop a reasonably slow shot and the ball rolled up his arms and hit him in the face.

Taylor didn't start, he came on in the second half (had a few dodgy touches too, but not terrible overall). There were wholesale changes for both teams at around the 60 minute mark, Ben Frederickson came on for the Nix then and looked very lively.
Disappointing outing for all the Nix fringe players, Marco was shoved off the ball too easily, Costa showed good pace and found himself in good opportunities, but finishing let him down, Daniel lost the ball to easily, Diego largely unimpressive, Mulligan was Mulligan, so yeah, not great. Thought TWs played quite well though, knocked the ball around well enough in the first half, content to sit deep in the second and hit on the counter. Scored some clinical goals, hope they play like that again on Sunday.

Mulligan was woeful.Crowther's constant yelling of "Get forward 6!" was hilarious when ever other player on the field knew that "6" was called Aaron and used his name numerous times.
Nah, he wasn't saying 6, he was saying Siggs - as in Siggy.
