Yup, him and Paston. Paston did nothing wrong. But he hardly had to do anything the whole match so he didn't get the chance to get some points.

I would rate Ifill, Greenacre, and Daniel all 11/10. I would give everyone else a 10/10... Disco Troy for scoring, Caceres for some outstanding work up front, Chen when he came on worked hard to get chances.

A few players a bit unlucky not to score I thought.

Don't forget Lia and Brown who worked hard in midfield today also.

Yep and someone in another thread wanted Paston to organise some goals - 6 is a good start

chen is only here on loan so i cant see him resigned unless he scores alot of goals and grows 10 mre inches. as for Ifill..keep him here for ever!!! shot ricky

My question is - 'Does Johnny Chen offer more than Costa'?

From what i have seen - clearly not. Give the home grown Wellington lad a chance, rather than an overweight Chinaman.

Well, it was a long, happy drive back to the sunny BOP today.... My version of the ratings:

Pasty 7 Was sound, but had little to do. It would have been fun for him to come up for one of those last corners, but better to be safe with that clean sheet I guess

Manny 7.5 Strong, cleaned up his man each time

Durante 9 Fabulous game, always looked in control and to see him dribble past six players up the middle of the park... magic

Siggy 8.5 Never gave an inch

Lochie 8 Defended well and gratr to see his confidence coming forward. That header of his while lying on the ground was absolute classic

Leo 7 Available more as a link man, but combined well with Manny

Brownie 8.5 Took that goal very well, which set the scene for the flood that followed

Lia 8.5 Was everywhere, especially snuffing out thier options

Daniel 8.5 Great game, popped up at exactly the right times

Ifill 9.5 Nearly bloody perfect

Greeie 9 Outstanding, won so many headers and directed them to free players, unbeliveable for someone of his height

Caceras 7.5 Great runs with the ball, not quite linking up properly yet

Troy 7 Lovely goal

Chen 5 Had his chances and didn't take them

What a memorable game. Magnificent.

Not this time, but listening to the singing from the BB as we walked off down the street was amazing, could be heard from hundreds of metres away!

I haven't seen it, but probably, considering he is sitting behind my desk at work he hasn't been ou ton the town since the competition....maybe got itchy feet...put the pic on here for me to check out...
