Should be happy with the point as Adelaide should have scored a couple more.

Really? Thought that we both had one huge chance saved by the keeper. Did I miss Adelaide hitting the post a few times or something?
Anyway, looking at it now, I think starting Keegan Smith is probably one of the weirdest decisions in Phoenix history.
- Started him for his distribution, but unable to kick over half way.
- Punched most balls, only caught those straight at him and got lucky with a couple where had a few goes.
- Lack of communication. A couple of times defenders obviously left it for him but he was nowhere to be seen.
Easily the worst keeper we've ever had starting a game for us, and a real weakness heading into the rest of the season. It's harsh to blame him as it's really on the amnager, but I thought he was extremely lucky today that Adelaide were just as poor as us.
Exhibit b: Warner

Sure he was shaky at times but he's an 18yo on debut. Not like he threw any in. Almost certainly he wasn't taking goal kicks because of an injury.
Erm, his kicks didn't clear half way even at the start of the game.
Crowther and Warner were poor, but still better than Smith because because they weren't 18 year old kids. I don't blame Smith - I blame the manager for throwing him in the deep end - but jesus, he punched basically everything directly to Adelaide players. That is really basic stuff.
There is no point pretending that Smith had a good game.
