an 18 year old keeper is never gonna cut mustard. Ridenton was poor. No one stood out for me. Seemed like a pre-season run around - a lot of that crowd ain't coming back..

Never say never, Danny Vukovic was 17, Matt Ryan 18/19, Lawrence Thomas 19, Mitch Langerak 19 - and of course in Europe guys like De Gea, Donnarumma (who is still only 18 with 4 caps for Italy)etc.

Or Alban Lafont, starting keeper for Toulouse since he was 16 and approaching 100 appearances at 18.

Trouble is, talent wise Keegan's certainly no Donnarumma or Lafont

He doesn’t need to be, he just needs to be an A league quality keeper or better.

Why is all the post match talk about an 18 year old goalkeeper who barely put a foot wrong on the rare occasion he had something to do? I find this odd.
