I hate to agree with nufc, but I agree with nufc.

I don't think anyone is ragging on the kid because anyone with a brain recognises that blaming him for being not quite ready is ridiculous - it was the managers decision to put him in, and thus the manager should be the one questioned.

Facts;

Negatives;

 - He punched at every opportunity. On at least 2 occasions this led to clear goal scoring opportunities for Adelaide when other keepers would have likely caught it.

 - He could not kick the ball over half way. Rossi had to do it, which is never ideal.

 - Was not commanding in his area. On a couple of occasions he literally dropped it on an opposing players head and regathered.

 - Poor communication. Once with Rossi and once with Abbas. Both almost led to goals.

Positives;

- Good reaction save off his leg.

- Was always keen to get the play going quickly, with decent distribution from his feet and hands when passing to players in close proximity.

- Is still very young, can learn.

- Post match interview showed maturity in recognising he made mistakes.

Now, I'm not a goal keeping expert, but for me it seems like he had a bad game if measured to the same level as any other professional keeper..?
