If there wasn't a game in Auckland a week later you'd expect more of an Auckland crowd to come down. No advertising, bad press for a week, and two games within an hours drive of each other in a week all added up.
Still a piss poor effort from the Tron.
We've been so dissapointing I don't think the crowd in Wellington would have been any bigger. So I find it hard to feel that was a poor effort from the 'Tron. We've been shark. You get shark crowds when you are shark. Hopefully we've turned a corner.
I always think a one off game should get more people to the ground though. So I think it was poor.
