I don’t think we will see big tactical changes but with Krishna playing we get more momentum forward. And if our defense is less leaky and Italiano plays as good as he thinks he is, we could maybe, eventually win this.

(If anyone else here has even heard of this band, you are a friend of mine. RIP John Wetton.)
Way back when, in early eighties, I had both their studio albums on vinyl (U.K. and Danger Money), as well as the live album "Night after Night" but nowadays only have the remastered debut album ("U.K") on a CD. It remains my favourite because of Allan Holdsworth's lead guitar work.
That original lineup with Wetton, Bruford, Holdsworth and Jobson was astonishingly good, and obviously could not last very long with four strong personalities and strong musical ideas.
Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days
I was in a band with a guy who was an ex-roadie for Bruford - Wetton- Holdsworth.
Not sure if that was UK or Asia. I'll ask him next time I see him.
Has to be "UK", because "Asia" had Bill Bruford, Greg Palmer, Steve Howe and Geoff Downes, with Wetton of course.

I watched the full Adelaide v CCM match the other night. Our defence in wide areas will be key. It seemed a lot went through Roux on the right and Pain and Appiah often roving wide too (still panics in the critical moments, but he’s fudgeing quick as we know). However Adelaide defended well, both wide and with anything that made its way into a central area. Surely Parkhouse will be back on the left this week; and Singh will provide best value when playing centrally rather than wide.
Kotahitanga. We are one.

People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.

Watching the Phoenix each week is a momentary lapse of reason, so maybe it was on topic.
Allegedly

I just hope that when the A-League's clubs are next changed, the Phoenix makes the final cut.

clearly if Parkhouse plays he starts on the left
If 4-2-3-1 start Singh at #10 ? I don't see where else to play him.

Yeah? And I'll see you on the Dark Side of the Moon.
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
Burns finding his old form for us might be like finding Pipers at the Gates of Dawn.
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
I wanna see Smith back, since he was dropped after 2 errors vs Perth, and now Italiano has had a shocker of attempting to save anything last week. Also keen to see if Paracki can find the form he promised early on anytime again soon.
We played better playing out from the back with Smith sweeping. I would challenge the contention that he cost us points. He made some mistakes, but the most obvious one I recall was in the game we won 5-2

I have 'High Hopes' now Burns is on the team
I'd "Echoes" that suggestion.

Time for some of these players to step up, especially now that Burns and this new Serbian fella are pretty much available for first team selection in the next couple of matches. It's tough, but that's football. Hopefully the increased competition will mean players are scrapping for their selections (in some cases, their futures) and getting the best out of each other - we can only hope. Also backing Keegan Smith coming back into the first XI, even though he wasn't spectacular when he came in, he's better than the crap Italiano has been serving up since coming into the side...
Good luck tomorrow night boys, have plans for NYE so can't watch the game live, but will try and get the result on my phone. Please don't add to my hangover on Monday morning!
Also a big Happy New Year to all the Feverites, supporters of the club, and contributors on this forum too, may 2018 be a prosperous one, and may we finally have a winning football team in the new year!
Roll on 2018! COYN!

The incumbents have two games to prove their worth before reinforcememts arrive.
I'm expecting them to fight hard and if they don't then I won't be sad when they're dropped.
