I think the really interesting stat is the number of appearances it took them to score these goals:

Ifill 106 (33)   or scores in 31% of games.

Brown 112 (23) or scores in 21% of games

Smeltz 39 (21) or scores in 54% of games (Total for A league 73 from 126 - 58%)

Greenacre 84 (19) or scores in 23% of games

Brockie 34 (18) or scores in 53% of games (Total for A league 34 from 108 - 31%)

Huysegems 35 (9) or scores in 26% of games

A finisher like Smeltzy from our first two seasons could make such a big difference to this team.

Only 1% difference between Brockie and Smeltz - both on an off period at present I believe. But Smeltz has the better overall percentage.

However Smeltz never had a long barren patch when he was at the Nix.

In terms of the others from 2009/10 to 2011/12 - the goal scoring was shared around Ifill, Greenie and Brown, plus good contributions from Dadi, Macalister and Sanchez.  So back then it didn't matter that no one was particularly prolific - we still got them on a regular basis and made the finals three years in a row.
