The reason I still have trust in Ernie is because in both of his completed seasons for the Phoenix, we have been the best team in the league for a short while. He has not been able to maintain that. Ricki was great for us but we never looked like the best team in the competition when he was coach. Ernie has gone to places and got results where Ricki couldn't.

Do you see that happening this season?

So struggle to start, then put up a great score, and hopefully win?

Suprised they dropped Danaskos and brought in Doyle. I thought Doyle played better of the bench

Interesting XI.
A-Rod starting up front??

I's a little like U9's where everyone gets at least 1 game up front and at least 1 in goal

you would think that that was a mistake and that Roly would be further up. But if it isn't hope it works!

No Danaskos? Louis back in? Interesting. Doyle with some major points to prove. Wonder if Ridenton, Doyle and Louis all playing for a single contract space. Seem to be offering something similar at this stage...Which of them seems most likely to kick on.

Yeah I think it'll be more of a 4-4-2 diamond with WeeMac and Powell up front, Roly behind, and Lia and A-rod behind that, and Riera as DM

Ridenton did a good job last week... with 20 to go, against 10 men, when we were dominating.

90 mins in an even, open, tough game is a different story.

Hope for the best alright, didn't Ernie say judge me after 3 seasons he's signed or resigned all these players and nothing has really changed. Are we now seeing signs why the Victory and the Mob in Hong Kong said goodbye to Ernie but as Doloras said there is always Hope

is he a striker?

I guess not, hes not even on the bench

Looking forward to us getting to ref a half too, shark will get real. Yellows for accumulation fouls on Roly?! Huge.

Kick off Delayed due to W-League semi on before heading to extra time.

Permalink Permalink

Thanks FFA. That will help out #Metrics

#MCYvWEL kick off will be delayed due to W-League semi final going to extra time. Kick off 10.05 if extra or 10.22 if pens.
