Ninety three per cent of players surveyed by Professional Footballers Australia — the soccer players’ union — believed that the start of last weekend’s match between Adelaide United and Wellington Phoenix, played in 38.7C heat, should have been delayed.

I agree with comments, but 93% means zip if they only surveyed 10 players.

They can't have only surveyed 10 players if they got 93%...

It actually said 93% of players surveyed, not 93% of all the players in the A league.

Leggy, Patrick's saying you have a math problem.

Assuming it's a binary choice (either you think they should have played or not) then it's probably a fraction of x/14

i.e. 13/14 players, 26/28, 39/42 all equate to 92.8%.

It's a geeky math joke.

EDIT...  neeedd to look at my math again...

Assuming it's a binary choice (either you think they should have played or not) then it's probably a fraction of x/12

i.e. 11/12 players, 22/24, 33/36 all equate to 91.6%.

It's a geeky math joke.
