We definitely deserved that yellow, but, wow how was theirs missed. Both cases are really bad tackle attempts.

They are attacking our passing play aggressively. If we are good enough we can find the gaps behind that.

yeah look, the defending was great up until that point, I really didn't feel like Perth were going to be able to score. Still think the Nix have at least a goal in them though.

Ball should've at least hit the target with his opportunity. We're looking decent through the middle when we drive forward quickly, otherwise we look slow and happy to sit in. I know the conditions are pretty oppressive by the sounds of it, but we look slightly off passing out from the back tonight. Lot's of missed passes and turnovers.

Before the first goal I thought Perth were a little ahead of us, but ok with that given away game. Now I just think FML.

Rufer isn't a bad player, but compared to Steinmann he looks absolutely terrible. Devlin is doing 90% of the defending out there, Rufer is far too slow to get around the pitch. Also offers nothing in terms of progressing the ball - looks up for an option,  dallies on it, then passes it back to Taylor or DeVere. Wilson isn't good either, but I'd hook Rufer at half time.

Definitely feels like we could claw it back, but it also feels like we could get slaughtered. 

Perth turned it the hell on for that last 10 mins. 

We did the normal Phoenix-away-to-Perth thing - work really hard, as soon as 1 goal is conceded, every play forgets how to defend. To be fair; when it's humid as fudge, it's hard to think properly.
