i think that Roly was initially pegged to be the more defensive of the two, but the performance in the first half of the Perth game showed that Roly was more comfortable going forward than A-Rod, and Ernie changed his tactics to accomodate.
I don't think A-Rod is doing the 'donkey work' that well yet - his first touch is off and he seems to get in the way half the time. I thought he showed some promise when we were on top but shrunk back into his shell a little when we were under the pump - Perth were getting through the middle with ease until Lia came on.
Think he has potential, though, and will only get better. He's only played a handful of games at senior level.
Looking at those stats - interesting that we led interceptions and successful headers by a wide margin.
