My penny-worth of thoughts from last night..

- thought the performance was similar to last week - promising but with numerous scary moments

- the pitch was bobbly as all hell. We struggled with it in the first half - mis-hit passes, poor first touches, the works. Seems in the 2nd half we settled down a bit and played with 'softer feet' somewhat.

- commentators were absolutely ridiculous. Literally the whole time until we led, they spoke of CCM's dominance. And yet it was like a flicked switch when we took the lead, all of a sudden we'd apparently been dominant the entire game, and our movement and passing was 'amazing'. It was like 1984, as if they'd gone back and erased all their previous comments from our memories, and acted like they'd been talking like that all along.

- brockie and doyle both had decent games despite their high-profile moments

- we did very well to create the chances to win against their defence, which seemed very good

- after I hadnt noticed rodriguez for a while I watched him specifically for about 15 mins and was very impressed, however I'm pretty sure that coincided with the 20min period people said he looked good, so should be taken with a grain of salt
