I don't know if there is enough difference between Dario, Gui and Mikey. I hope they all have stellar seasons, but there is one possibly two scapegoats awaiting there too...

Doyle and Galloway should give them better service.

Quite a few small differences in skill, physicality, exposure, speed etc. that add up to a  big difference overall.

McGlinchey still has a few years left in him and continues to run, while Finkler can be prone to standing around. Finkler used to be superior at all dead ball situations in the past and I look forward to seeing him prove the point that he is still as good at them.

Both Vidosic and McGlinchey could play the strong centre-forward role (although Mikey works better on the left flank) while Gui not so much anymore, in my opinion. Also, in previous years I would expect Dario to rank higher than Mikey just because of his superb skills. However, he has not gone on to dominate the play as much as he used to, and has not been selected for the Socceroos in a long while.

Lastly, I consider both Vidosic and Finkler as more "mood-influenced", so they can have a blinder of a game or a forgettable game, depending on factors outside of the game. Mikey is far more level headed, even-tempered and dependable, but also perhaps as a result unlikely to have a "blinder of a game".

I am sure there is a better way to word it, but I only had one coffee so far today.

WeeMac as a strong centre-forward? I don't see that at all.

Sure.  As I said (highlighted).

Martin B 's question was if there was 'enough difference between them', so in my reply I was desperately bending the time-space continuum to test his hypothetical similarity between them, if you follow my twisted logic.

I am sure there is a simpler way to explain it, but it's 5:30pm and I am already reaching for my first craftie of Friday arvo.
