That's fine, my point is that it was a minutes silence DURING THE GAME. They asked us to stand up while the ball was in play and be quite. A round of applause through the 53rd minute would have been great but some muppet thought otherwise.
The announcer clearly said "stand for a moments silence".
I hope he got the tune right...
