Watson back. Maybe Lia. Maybe Powell.

Some interesting selections to be made. Have any of the fringe players done enough to stay starting (Ridenton / Fenton)

Personally I think no.

I hope we win

Depends if you want to go on immediately previous game (Fenton), two games back (Powell), or an overall record.

If an overall record is all that counts, we're really down to Paul Ifill and maybe Nathan Burns.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Powell in for Ridenton. McGlinchey to take Ridenton's spot and Powell to go up front.

I'd like to see Wattosauce and Powell up front again - feel like they work quite well together.

I'll be at the game and chant who ever plays. Like to pass Sydney on the ladder by the end of the season. Hope that Manny has another cracker. Confidence is up and the right time to break Adelaides unbeaten run.

Why change a winning lineup? Admittedly Fenton and ridenton are makeshift upfront but they did a job and looked good.

Because Powell has 4 goals and an assist from his last 2 games, and Watson has 2 goals and an assist from his last 2?

I wouldn't bring Watson back in because Fenton did so well last week, but Powell's gotta be a starter. Better to play with a striker than three not-a-striker's.

I just think our attack as a whole looked a lot sharper and more dangerous when Watson has played. Admittedly that's in a sample of 2 games though.

4-4-2 seems good to me to keep the mix rotating. 4-3-3 some days etc.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Fenton had a good game, but I think Watson has been the catalyst for our change in fortune. He gives teams something else to think about which we need, give our natural lack of width.

I don't mind Watson starting but he would also be a good Plan B off the bench

In fact, it was so sharp and dangerous that Watson managed to get himself sent off.

Jokes aside, suddenly we have a good potential upfront with Fenton, Powell, Watson, and even Appiah of the bench.

Nothing against Ridenton, but not sure where to fit him in with the above available.

Ridenton isn't a striker. Appiah isn't a footballer.

Both Riverton and Felton have suffered from not really having a position  they have nailed on yet: both have played all around the park.
