You are comparing an international from Costa Rica and one from Fiji. I don;t think there is any comparison.

What utter bullshark reasoning is this then? If we compared Gareth Bale from Wales and Fred from Brazil, you would say Bale is miles better than him. As if the country they originate from matters.

I will try and keep it simple/stupid.  Playing internationals for Fiji against Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu etc is not the same as playing Panama, USA, Venezuela etc.

So Kenny is better than Wynton Rufer was?

Obviously not.  Wynton was training and playing at a much higher level.

So you're saying that the quality of the opponents your national team plays against isn't an indicator of how good you are as a player?

I am saying that if you are playing against poor sides week in and week out your standard is not really going to improve.

But Roy isn't playing sides like Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu etc week in week out, and Kenny isn't playing against sides like Panama, USA and Venezula week in week out.

But he was when he was 20 years old. How many international strikers score 14 goals in 22 games. Shows what the opposition was like. The fact is the standard of football in Fiji in not on the same page as Costa Rica. That was my original point.
