Easy to say that after he scores two goals; similar performance to Boyd in Adelaide.
Would be interesting to see if he's rewarded with a starting berth. Krishna has been struggling, but not sure if it's a good idea to drop him because he seems so reliant on confidence. Be good for him to get back into the swing of things before finals.
Cunningham has been great for so long though, unlike Boyd who is still at the start of his professional career. Other names that come to mind for being underrated at the Nix were Kosta and Rojas (for the start of his career anyway) - but again they were relative unknowns as far as professional football went. Cunningham has had some absolute magic moments during his time here, and Ive always been a big fan.
bollocks.
Kosta had to break into a team including Smeltz/Ifill, Leo, Greenacre and Daniel. Should he have been an automatic starter ahead of these players? And don't forget how dynamic all time assist leader AW Leo Bertos was before his last season or so when he started to lose his pace. This has been talked about a lot. Kosta was known to have potential, but also had to earn a starting berth.
16yr old Marco was underrated? Injured Marco?
Also bollocks that Kenny has been great for a long time. But he has scored some goals and is obviously in touch at the moment. I think Krishna is a pro and that starting Kenny ahead of him might be a go, but Ernie will make the right call. Perhaps the pressure from Kenny on the bench will spur him in the next game.
Everyone has looked rusty. Could be someone just had to break the drought and they'll all start going in.
The fuk are you on about? I said underrated, not overrated. Underrated isn't an insult, if anything its a complement in respect to their hidden potential - which we clearly all now know exists (albeit no longer hidden).
And FYI Cunningham had played international football before he came to the Nix. The most average of their international players would probably all be better than ours.
