playing after a Warriors game? eck.

actually playing after 3 warriors games, all three grades are playing at westpac today.

Match day timings

10.45 am   Ticket booth opens for gate sales and venue pick ups
11.00 am     Carpark opens, $30 cash only
12.30 pm  Gates open
12.40pm     NYC Under 20 match:  Vodafone Junior Warriors v Wests Tigers
2.40 pm       NSW Cup:  Vodafone Warriors v Wests Tigers
5. 00 pm      NRL Telstra Premiership match commences

the pitch is going to be a minefiled of sand filled holes.
One slight reason to have hope is that I don't think league is as bad on the turf as rugby because it doesn't have the same sort of competitive driving scrums, and all the rucks etc in rugby seem like they'd create a lot more divots than league tackles and play-the-balls. Still don't think it'll be great after three matches though. Anyone go to the Worriers last night or see it on tv? Did the pitch look f*cked by the end?

Why dont they run a light/medium weight roller over the pitch, that would surely flatten it out a bit, or dont turf technicians do that sort of thing ???
