As said by others seems to be quite a number turn up in the zone, not just this week, wanting to be "entertained" and to feel part of the atmosphere yet do little to participate.

The amount of inane mindless chatter about nothing to do with football is amazing. Many of these people barely seem to even watch the match to see what is happening

I agree that it's disappointing, but the sad fact is that these are the very people that the Club has to get through the door to get crowds up. I think it's fairly obvious that "real" football fans aren't enough to give us decent crowd numbers. Can only hope that as we improve on the pitch, these people start to contribute off the park. We have to somehow break the cycle of turn up, don't participate, complain about the atmosphere being shit, don't come back.

It's a vicious circle - turn up, don't participate, complain about the atmosphere being shit, don't come back.
