I thought NJ shut us down really well in the first half, they marked tighly and pressurised us as we tried to bring the ball forward .
We just weren't good enough to deal with it. They often had 5 men hunting us down and pressing, so there must have been space behind them , but we don't have anyone good enough to pass it forward accurately enough. Passing to Lia just outside the D when he is getting chased down by two men isn't going to achieve anything. We desperately needed a decent wide option, a Rojas if you like. But even then we would have to be able to get the ball to him.
