Get GUI off, we have nothing happening in the middle, Ridenton, probabl is our best player at switching and we need to find that width.

Stinks of 5-0 this.

Can someone tell me what Ridenton is going to fix?

Is he going to plug our right flank were Mullen is just a turnstile flapping in the wind?

Is he going to help our back 4 learn not to play out of the back when there are 3 Newcastle attackers pressuring on?

Newcastle aren’t coming at us down the middle. Ridenton won’t fix what is not actually a problem

Its as if the second half from last week is playing out all over again

Gui is such a liability in the midfield

Even the half screen youtube link has stopped working just like the Nix.

the Phoenix app is more up to date than sky for me.

I hear an alert, see who has possession, then know what's about to happen.

The balance is not right with GUI on the park (same as last year).

We are not transitioning well because no one is looking for the ball, all the runs are forward away from the ball. D is holding on too long as a result and getting caught out because they can't find anyone.

I thought McGlinchey was better than Ridenton at this midfield business but seems he's better further forward.

were not in this ,need a goal back quickly or its good night!
Worse performance this season so far!
Merrick must be laughing his arse off!

He might help us to keep possession in the middle of the park, that might release some of the other pressures... and he'll probably work harder than Gui as well, which might help defensively.

I'm half-cut, pissed-off, unseasonably cold, and heading to bed.

Hopefully I miss a great comeback by the 'Nix.

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.

I'm  looking forwards to the second half, will be interesting to see what Darje and Rado do to win this game.

I'm worried our players aren't technically gifted enough to be able to play it around the back under pressure in a professional environment. The more time we spend near our own goal, the more likely it is for a misplaced pass to be costly. Do we have a plan B?

he will replace Finkler, which is a step in the right direction as he is an absolute busted flush. He cannot run, his passing is average, his diving is awful and and he gives away petulant fouls. Replacing him will not fix the myriad of problems we have, but it is a start. At least it means it is 11 v 11

If keeping possession is an issue, well it’s not been Finkler turning it over. It’s been Mullen, Durante, Paracki, McGlinchey and Krishna.

I can’t argue about the work rate but then why isn’t Kaludjerovix getting the same call. I honestly think Finkler is designated scapegoate this week

Same as the second half last week. We are giving away so many free kicks. Its so obvious to the Jets that we will play out from the back and they just press on us.

Smith has to learn to kick the ball further from gathering the ball as well as goal kicks it is putting too much pressure on us.

youd think Abbas might like to have some sort of look where the golden boot striker is during an attack, rather than ball watching.

I think the Jets will come out firing and wanting that third goal fast to put this game to bed!
If they don't score we might be able to pinch one back early on which would change everything, big hill to climb though and we don't have experienced players like Brisbane had against us last week!

I reckon Paracki's backpass is due to Nix green GK kit; ie not very visible and in that split second didn't see him and passed to the colour he saw (blue). #GKshouldnotweargreen

I have to sneakily admit laughing a few times when balls were put through for Finkler to run on to. What optimism to think he would ever get anywhere near them. I've seen ride-on mowers move faster.

Not blaming Paracki, this happens. Whole team had for cheap turnovers and not getting the second ball. Game is not over, after all the last week talks about loosing a 3:0 lead we should expect a massive come back.

And we need to give Vidosic more of the ball, always route one to Krishna.
