Does change scare you?
Let me answer that rhetorical question with one of my own. Do you think third rate hacks like Reason and Telfer would be having a field day at the Nix's expense if Ricki had seen out the season? And - for the hard of reading comprehension - I wasn't a Ricki supporter, not after the WSW game. I just suggested that he wasn't the reason that we were sucking dead puppies through a straw, or at least not the only reason. And I think - despite the people who continue to blame Ricki after he's gone - I've been shown to be right.
Another point no-one's mentioned. Ricki took over the Knights with 5 matches to go. He leaves the Nix with 5 matches to go. Damn, that's eerie.
Oh, and just one more. Morrissey-with-a-cat-on-his-head thinks I've gone to la-la land because I think that the SACK RICKI crowd here actually played a part in getting their wish. I bring to your attention: 1) if Ricki *did* quit, it was surely due to pressure from media, owners, AND fans; 2) some posters here - inc. JD, if I remember right - were fond of saying that only fan pressure on these forums could convince the owners to make a change in ownership. So you really think that what you say here is of no real-world consequence? If so, why do you bother saying it?
