It was always going to be tough to follow last season. We were an amazing team 23/24.
With CCM away now and then Victory at home, it's going to be difficult. After 5 games we could be 7 points behind where we were last year.
I'm sorry for the negativity, but we may just have to consider this a rebuild year. 
We either need a 15 goal/season striker or we need a midfield with much more creativity. 
There was nothing except a resilient defensive formation that gave any reason for optimism against Auckland. I guess that that in itself is a good basis for the start of the rebuild.
