Just spoke to four blokes who had driven down froMA uckland for the Nix game on Sunday. They didn't know about the TWvAC game. Told them about the beer tent, the sausages, the Uber deal. They were very keen.

Is there supposed to be a code here?

hello, I have a few Q's I hope someone can help me with as I'd like to support this initiative

1. Will the beer tent take cards for payment or just cash?

2.  Can I use my Phoenix membership to get into team Wellington games? If not is it cash only?

I'm new to the uber concept so ...

3. How many uber drivers are out there available to be booked?  I was thinking there could be a wait if quite a number of people wanted to leave straight after the game completed.

4. Do they charge on kilometres or time taken to reach the destination?

Thanks :-)

When are Auckland City fans going to care about the ASBP?

Pretty remarkable that in 10 years that is Auckland's first 4 goal defeat across all competitions. Credit must go to TW that is some effort!

Three for me, and two for them.

Shit that was bloody good fun. And I missed the first goal!

That was awesome. Thank to everyone that turned up,  and thanks to the Tee Dubs from putting on a great show.

Only 6 people used the Uber code. Proving that the getting to/from the game isn't the crowd issue at TW.

or it could also show that people don't really know how to use uber. I think a bit of both.

Also, I used the code but didn't redeem it. Hoping I'm not counted as one of those 6

You're not.

I think if it was confusion about Uber we would have heard that feedback. But we didn't.

I think the reason people don't go to TW games isn't because it's hard to get there it's because they don't care.

So on a percentage of population basis, is it fair to say Aucklanders care less about the ASBP?

I care but it is out of the way for me, wife and two babies to consider. With Nix games ir is my time out and easy to get to and from.

Same as usual. About 300.

Just watched the highlights of AC vs TW and to me it looked like a pretty even game (granted highlights don't always paint the full picture) and AC had quite a few chances - for me at 2-0 down and having just lost a man this incident below is quite important:

The AC player at the top of the centre circle was called offside (incorrectly in my opinion) but before the ref has called the offside the striker gets the ball and tries to go around the keeper who looks like he handles the ball outside the area.  could have been a DOGSO i reckon.

Even after this AC look pretty good value for a goal - but TW were ruthless in front of goal and it's goals not chances that count i guess.

He's offside when you put in the FOx Sports offside line.

DFF is a great ground but I think people look at where it is and just CBF going.
Thou I don't think the crowds at Newtown park are any better :|

Shame because there has been some great football with even better banter with beer/cider and BBQ.

Handball  is irrelevant because of the offside.

Apart from that Payne chance at the start, ACFC did sweet f all.  TeeDubs took the foot off the pedal at the end which lead to a few chances. But game was gone by then.
