This is a very cool initiative, gets us a bi-annual extra game to look forward to, someone different other than the usual a-league teams. Might also help with us potentially pushing for a spot in the ACL should we win the league.
Really rather ho hum why for me. Not as if its a well known club or has something to really to offer us. Think your kidding yourself if you think its going to have any affect at all of us playing in the ACL. Going to take a lot more than one club to get us entry.
He did say "might", not would. I have no idea how this initiative might be of financial benefit to the Nix but surely they wouldn't have wasted time pursuing it if there wasn't good potential. I will be very interested to know what the club's vision is long term with this one.
Might as in it we have a relationship with a team playing in the Chinese Super league, maybe (slim I know) there's a chance that they p;ut in a good word with their ACL overlords. Gotta start somewhere, at least now we have a presence in Asia.
