After a lacklustre showing in the first half the injustice of
Norwich's second goal seemed to spur Rovers on and they quickly reduced
arrears with two goals in the space of five minutes.

The
first on 69 minutes was a superbly executed volley from John
O'Sullivan, the Irishman connecting brilliantly from the edge of the box
after Declan Rudd could only punch Tim Payne's centre away.
Payne would get in on the goalscoring act soon after as Fernandez found the Kiwi at the near post and he headed home.
Rovers
laid siege to Norwich's goal in search of an equaliser, Curtis Haley
having a trio of chances, the best of which came a minute into ten added
at the end of the game, but he somehow fired wide Tim Payne's pass with
the goal at his mercy.
