Crazy to think that a first choice goalkeeper for a top half La Liga club is playing in the SSP a year later

These two have nothing to do with each other.  A good goalkeeper at 34 is getting into his prime. However, being complacent and error-prone is a professional liability at any age, in any profession, unless you are the chairman of SKY TV.... well, or maybe like the chairman of EQC, the gormless Ian Simpson.
