Themi I think is insanely underrated by New Zealanders simply because he didn't play much under Hudson. Hot take - if we signed him he'd quickly become one of the best defenders in the league. Would love to bring him, Howieson and Payne in to form a wonderful Kiwi spine

Signing Kiwis is the one main advantage we have over other absolute shark teams like CCM - the better off-contract Aussies like Taggart, Jeggo and Spiranovic wouldn't want to come to either of us unless we dumped a suitcase of money at their door, but I'm betting a lot of Kiwis would find it an honour to be signed by us simply because we're a national representative.

Another transfer system that none of us really consider is loans. There are a lot of top Aussies and even Kiwis at big clubs available for loan - Burnley's Aiden O'Neill comes to mind, an U23 international getting first team minutes in League One on loan this season.
