Bit off-topic but is he really? I find Singh far better than any homegrown player we've had in the past five years, Ridenton included. Pretty honoured to have him in the squad. Ridenton did his thing and was good enough to start, but wouldn't really say anything more
Based on performances last year and the fact he is now an import player in Australia, yes. Ridenton played almost every minute and was arguably our player of the season. Singh, while he played well, only broke into the side towards the end of the season. I think Singh will end up a far better footballer than Ridenton but last year Ridenton was the better player over the full season, albeit with resonably different styles of play. Who knows if that still would be true had Kalezic given Singh a chance early on?
