Its odd but maybe there is missing bridge between the Phoenix and kiwi players, these guys are getting signed around the world.
We've been through this before. The twin problems are:
a) as Rudan alludes to, our "shamateur" system means people are on good coin for playing National or top-level regional leagues and have no incentive to trial professionally;
b) many people in NZ Football just don't like the Phoenix and don't want to play for us because they think we suck as a club, we've got a bad culture, and we're going to be finished in 2 years anyway. You saw Cole Peverley slagging the Nix on Twitter, we know what Declan Edge thinks about it.
