I'm not convinced he is the tall centre forward people seem to think he is. In some ways, I hope he isn't. Because if we start to play with a traditional #9, then we probably need to move to 4-3-3. Not sure our squad can handle that. Krihsna would need to player wider, Fenton would need to do more defensive work, and Dura would need to cover more area in the back line with only 4 back there.
he said he prefers to play CF in his presser - although Rudan chimed in saying he'd seen him playing as a LW. Said he has the pace and mobilty to play anywhere. We currently play with 2 up front and Rudan has said the same in the presser. I'd expect to see him come off the bench instead of Burns/Williams against Adelaide, given Williams has scored in the last two we may see Burns given a break from gameday to go find his shooting boots.
Sorry i probably didn't word that as well as I should. I don't think he is the a target man kind of striker. Seems quite mobile in those clips, and Rudan said in the presser he's pretty quick. So I'm not sure his arrival should mean we move to a front three. If anything, I think he's competing with Williams and Burns for that second striking place with Krishna.
Though it might be us some more flexibility to play with a front 3 if we are chasing a game etc.
