So you appear to concede that Ricki has run out of ideas and the players are not listening to him, but you think changing the assistant is the answer?  Amazing.

And no, I can't come up with a name as I do not have a database of available football managers to hand at the moment.  I cannot see that because a fan cannot come up with a name, that this is somehow a reason to keep a failing manager?
No thats not what I said.
What I am saying is he needs another assistant. This gives Ricki another perspective. My opinion, and I accept I am not in the 'circle of trust' at the Phoenix, is that Greenie has been ineffective based on the Ressies play and the front 3rd. I can't quantify that so its just my opinion. With another assistant comes another set of eyes and another person that can jump in and help to deliver a different message. I guess its like a brainstorming team of 2. Sometimes another set of eyes can make you look at something right under your nose in a completely different way and then you attack it from that angle and thus, the message changes.
I'm not sure Ricki is out of ideas as such but the drum he is beating on has to change. Why it has not done so, I don't know but he has bought in 2 players to at least try. I would think his next option is personnel changes and I am unsure as to why this has not happened but then, I'm not at training every week. There are people here advocating signing Hogg and ditching Lochhead without seeing him play despite him being reportedly ordinary in 2 ressies games.
Much like this forum, I read things all the time and my opinion changes and I think about things differently. There are many voices and views and that helps contribute to that.

Edit: Just re-reading my initial post, it might appear to suggest I advocate changing the assistant. I actually think he is light by 1 at the moment so hence my position of bringing in another 1. Sorry for the confusion.
