not gonna start a rant about it - but thought it was sad that the most successful chants were cat or gareth related rather than football. Sad that the whole crowd got standing chanting stand up if you love your cat - cant we change that to stand up if you love Muscat?
Also we seem to slip and slide an awful lot regardless of whether dura has even done anything - not necessarily a bad thing though I guess
PWF & Bullion - I think the reason the Cat & Gareth chants were picked up on, was due to the easy nature of the chants & people do feel strongly about Gareths views. (It was also a lighthearted pisstake)
Not everybody liked them, not everybody sung them, feel free to start whatever chants you like.
For the record , I only start a chant if it is quiet, the people that don't want to sing or those that don't like the particular chant, don't have to sing!
If you don't like a chant, start a new one, the noisier the better I say. (and my voice wouldn't be so f**ked for 2 days after each game)
p.s The thing that amazed me about the "Stand Up If You Love Your Cat" chant, was it was sung to the right tune!!!!!!!!!
