Seems our mid field options were over estimated, we are threadbare. Take out Muscat, who should be at fullback, and the rest are decidedly ordinary. Toto turning into what he looked like a rushed signing and Diego was never an option so not sure where the midfield riches are. Elliotttt simply a different class and hard to understand why we would not have grabbed him! Maybe not too late if we have few dollars to spare and RH not too proud to eat some humble pie.
Disagree with the muscat point, I think he's a far better midfielder than a fullback, but we have too many like him when he plays in the midfield. Brown muscat and lia should never be on the pitch at the same time.
Muscat has done a good job at midfield but Sig and Hearfield are not fullbacks. They offer nothing going forward and are both at best patches. Muscat is a quality full back.
