Great signing IMO. The guy has got everything we need to ignite our lacklustre season. Anyone who looked good in the midfield playing Italy in the WC will do OK in the A-League.
Imagine.....a Nix midfielder with a some creative vision, who can pass well with either foot, who's vastly experanced at a high level, who is currently in good form, who knows quite a few of the lads and will slot in easily. Yes please!!!!
Not sure how soon he will make an appearance but next Wednesday against the Roar would be fine! The team looks like they are playing with no confidence....Elliott calm direction in midfield could be just what we need.
Big thankyou to Terry for digging deep and coming up with the $$$ for this signing!!! Could pay off with a few more punters through the gate to see Elliott play....and maybe a revitalised team.
