Don't think that Elliott wants to stay in NZ for an extended period - just needs to get a few games to put himself in the shop window for MLS clubs
I think they'd get Pele out of retirement before they'd sign Elliott in the MLS again.
The man played games on the biggest football stage of all. If that's not enough to sign with the MLS, even if combined with his previous stints there, then nothing will be.

I agree - but I think he has his heart set on it and doesn't want to spend too much time away from America for obvious reasons.
I would take him in a heartbeat over Lia and in Brown's current form him too, though. Just wish it was for longer.
there's no shortage of whiners on here sometimes
i don't see a huge problem with signing someone whose better than anyone in our current midfield and perhaps (as a consequence) heaven forbid winning away or something
and as LG would say he can teach our boys 'skills and tactics"
Who is saying he is a bad signing? No one. (except whoo) Just think that getting someone in - who potentially could change the season for the better - for only a few games is a bit weird.valeo2010-11-01 20:44:14
