if we had ayouth team that would make more sense, iby doing what you are saying we'd simply become a feeder club to some nameless club. It would not be sustainable in the long run. selling all our quality would not equate to wins on the field which would hurt our position on and off the field.
As opposed to what exactly? No A-League teams are making money- so apparently the solution is to not just have a viable business model?
Why is the 'solution' to buy in players from offshore, or the same old tired aussie/nz players in some sort of merry-go-round?
Our position and that of the A-league will not be defined by whether or not we're in the finals, but by the club being a functional, viable business.
