I disagree with your comment that A - League clubs should not look to secure youth players and potentially sell them on to generate extra revenue.
Whilst it is harder said than done, one sale per year for many clubs could make a huge difference to their bottom line.
And the A league has seen some young players head overseas for reasonable purchase prices (speculated) e.g. Rukavitsa for 1.5 mil Aussie was reported and the Melbourne Victory defender Lleijer sold for a fairy decent sum.
If Rojas became a starter and played weekin week out in the A league, arguebly he wold become "valuable". And if he were sold o a bigger club i would personally be quite happy with that. The higher level he trains and plays at the better.
