With Terry's financial woes and Herbert's propensity for picking up others castoffs (Diego, Mac, ....) and leaving signings too late (Chen & Toto) I am quite worried about next seasons new signings.
Please; a smaller squad so we can spend the budget on better players, another couple of Ifill quality players (a striker and an AM) and having more than one specialist FB in the squad wouldn't be a bad idea.
I think we have the core of a good team we just lack a class striker (e.g. Smeltz, Thompson or Kruse) and a class middle of the park play maker (e.g. Hernandes).
With Ifill, Bertos and Daniel not as quick as they were we could probably do with some more pace - resigning Rojas obviously helps with that challenge.
The FFA stipulate a minimum squad size of 23? Otherwise would agree with you.
