I agree with what Feverish said earlier. Daniel can still offer a good defense splitting ball after coming on as a sub. In la-la land we'd sign 20 or so Hernandez/Flores quality players, in the real world there are budgetary considerations and taking those into consideration Daniel isn't bad (unlike Diego or Toto).
