Rees has been played when Thwaite hasnt been available in centre defence, Van den Brink has been played at Def Mid all season. How are they above Curtis when it comes to playing right back? The low amount of games might be more to do with fitness and injuries than being seen as a worse player than those 2.
I would rather we get Franjic than Curtis if we were shopping around the league for a right back. But thats not going to happen. Curtis appears to be available, and hasnt been made to look like a complete muppet by anyone in the league, so at least should be considered.
