i have to say it, but I really regret that we re-signed Greeny. Thought it was good at the time, but now Dmac is really running it for us up top so we need to be getting him in.

Unless we can find another striker of similar stature, eg Killen, then Dmacs gotta stay

Totally agree on that. Greenie would be one of the more expensive signings. He will be 34 mid next season and you would not expect him to get any quicker. He really is just squad material now and is not really an impact player. I was surprised we re-signed him.
We should have gone to the market and tried to pick up a younger quicker striker.

When you get Daniel and Greenie coming off the bench it hardly inspiring. Both are big hearted players but frankly they are now too old and too slow.

You are right about Dmac's impact. Any striker who regularly scores is worth their weight in gold....just check out his scoring record for the last 8 games or so. OK he can fluff the odd chance and he is not as nimble when the ball is under his feet but he has prescence up front...he competes in the air and he holds it up well. That finish against the Jets was world class.
I have no problem if Dmac is signed on for next year. We should really sign another striker but having greenie and Pav on the books also may mean that 4 is too many.
