I agree it would be great, and I think the A-League would love to be a european loan league,  but it is quite difficult.  I think generally it's much more likely for a young European pro to want to stay in Europe where it's perceived that they are being watched, whether on TV, scouts etc, close to their mates, their agent.  It doesn't appear to be that obvious a solution for a young player, what is there really for them to gain?
