We won't lose him due to money, pretty confident of that from what I hear.
This is an issue though. The clubs linked are Melbourne and Brisbane, he's not going to start ahead of Danny, Archie and Kruse and he's not going to start ahead of Kosta, Broich and Solorzano.
Top of that his skills are about playing wide running at players and Melbourne just doesn't add up. Brisbane meanwhile have owners who say theya re bailing out and have bigger financial challenges than us with a ground that costst them alot more.
He may go, but it would be a mistake for him. As I stated earlier he's a hero here no matter what he does and even RIcki isn't stupid enough to stop playing him when others get fit again. If he goes he'll see the bench and the youth league, burn bridges here, and possibly go backwards.
If he moves for money, and can move to a team where he will get (guaranteed) game-time he'd be a fool not to move

If Marco goes, wouldn't it more likely be to a South American team, through family connections, particularly in Chile?
His exposure through the recent games with the Nix may be enough to have him noticed and assemble a compelling show reel of his talents.
If that happens I hope Ricki locks Marco into an AW spot in March...before Chile does!
